The Executive Editorial Board of JODE recently decided to change the journal's reference style from modified Chicago Author-Date to Chicago Author-Date Style. Our hope is a) to further assist readers in doing searches for cited authors and b) to make it easier for submitting authors when writing citations as they can refer to CMS (Chicago Manual Style). The Reference Style Example guide has been updated to reflect this change; the guide also has been expanded to reflect the abundance of digital sources. In addition, minor updates have been made to manuscript submission requirements.
