Development Committee
The newly established Development Committee will partner with NDEO (National Dance Education Organization) to develop short-term and long-term fundraising initiatives. They will help manage overall fundraising strategies to support NDEO student and professional development scholarships, endowments, and ongoing programming of NDEO.

Seeking 2 Committee Members
Must have a current NDEO membership in order to apply for this position.
Specific Qualifications for Committee position: 1) Experience in fundraising; 2) Strong verbal and written communication skills; 3) Strong Organizational Skills, and 4) Detail Oriented.
Committee Member Responsibilities - 1) Develop short-term and long-term fundraising initiatives; 2) Research prospective donors; 3) Identify and contact potential donors; 4) Maintain records of donor information for future use through a centralized form with NDEO; 5) Suggest campaigns or events that will lead to soliciting donations; 6) Work with NDEO on suggested messages and campaigns to ensure these align with NDEO’s mission.
Please note that for ease of communications and record keeping, the Committee Chair may use project management software (such as Basecamp), email, Word, Excel, Google drive, Google docs, Google sheets, or other computer based methods to manage the work of the group.
