Before you enroll in any course in the Online Professional Development Institute (OPDI)™, you must first submit an Admissions Application. If you are a current OPDI student, you do not need to submit another application.
After you submit the OPDI application, you will need to sign up for an NDEO Membership before you can register and pay for OPDI courses. To learn more about NDEO membership, click here.
Deadline
OPDI students are accepted on a rolling basis. Applications are reviewed in order of receipt, and applicants should expect to hear from NDEO within a week of their submission date. Please submit your OPDI application at least a week prior to the start date of your desired course in order to allow for processing time.

The Application
In addition to basic contact information, you will be required to provide detailed information about your educational background (schools, degrees, dates) and answers to the following questions:
Question 1: Summarize your dance training and performance history. (145 words)
Question 2: Summarize your teaching experience in the field of dance. (145 words)
Question 3: Summarize other activities, certifications, or work experience that you feel is relevant to your acceptance into the Institute. (145 words)
Question 4: Statement of Purpose, your career goals and how OPDI can help you achieve these goals. (145 words)
