The last year has irrevocably changed the landscape of dance education. While the pandemic has challenged the ability to teach dance in familiar ways, we remain certain that dance education is essential to students’ physical, social, cognitive, and emotional health. As dance educators, we must not only continue to deliver the highest quality dance education under challenging conditions, but also stand up for our students and the value that dance education adds to their lives. The 2021 NDEO Virtual National Conference, with the theme of Telling Our Stories: The Essentiality of Dance Education in Changing Times, will highlight the need to advocate for our field in these financially and socially difficult times. We will gather to explore stories of the power of dance education, how we tell those stories, who tells them, and how those stories have been shaped and changed over the last year.

REGISTRATION FEE OPTIONS
NDEO is committed to making the 2021 NDEO Virtual Conference accessible to as many people as possible. In addition to our Regular Registration fee, we are offering several discounted rates. All registration options are for the full conference and open to all members; there are no one-day or student registration rates.  All registration rates bestow the same full conference access to the registrant. Discounted rates are ONLY available to current NDEO members with membership current through conference dates.

NDEO Member Registration Rates:
Registration (full access) - $195
Registration (full access) with donation - $295
Reduced Fee Option 1 (full access) - $120
Reduced Fee Option 2 (full access) - $85
Reduced Fee Option 3 (full access) - $50

Non-member registration (full access) - $195

NDEO has been challenged financially by the COVID-19 crisis like so many organizations. As you consider what payment option to use for registration, we ask you to please consider the full Regular Registration payment if you are either in a supported situation where an institution will cover the cost, or in a financial situation where you can afford the cost yourself.

As this year’s conference costs are dramatically reduced overall, due to the omission of expenses associated with an in-person conference, such as travel, hotel, and food, we thank our members for considering what they can do to support NDEO. For those who are able to give more and support the cost of making this conference more accessible, there is a Registration + Donation option. If you are able to support NDEO to a greater amount, please make a donation to NDEO Works! or contact staff to discuss.

If you are unable to afford any of the registration options at this time and wish to attend conference, please contact NDEO at conference@ndeo.org.
