NDEO is seeking new guest bloggers to write original posts for our “Behind the Curtain” blog. Current NDEO members can submit short articles, based on their personal experiences in the field of dance education, for publication on our blog this spring and summer. Articles may contain stories, advice, curriculum or lesson ideas, or reflections. Dance educators working in all sectors and branches of the field are encouraged to submit, so that we may feature a posts on a range of topics including private studios, K-12 school programs, higher education, community outreach, and more. In addition, undergraduate and graduate students may also submit articles for consideration.
If you are interested in learning more, please email Shannon Dooling-Cain at sdooling@ndeo.org. To submit, please include a copy of the article (1500 words max) in Microsoft Word or Google Docs format, along with a biography of approximately 100-200 words. Authors must be current NDEO members. All articles will be reviewed and approved by NDEO staff. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis, with priority given to those received by March 1, 2018.
