Calling all writers! NDEO is accepting submissions by guest bloggers for our “Behind the Curtain” blog. Current NDEO members can submit short articles for publication on our blog this summer and fall. Articles should be based on your experience in the field of dance education, and may contain research, advice, curriculum or lesson ideas, or personal narratives and reflections. Dance educators working in all sectors and branches of the field are encouraged to submit, so that we can feature a posts on a range of topics including private studios, K-12 school programs, higher education, community outreach, and more.
If you are interested in learning more, please email Shannon Dooling-Cain at sdooling@ndeo.org. To submit, please include a copy of the article (1500 words max) in Microsoft Word or Google Docs format, along with a biography of approximately 100-200 words. Authors must be current NDEO members at time of submission and time of publication. All articles will be reviewed and approved by NDEO staff. Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis, with priority given to those received by July 1, 2018.
